The University of Professional Studies (UPSA) has released its level 100 admission requirements for prospective students for the 2020/2021 academic year. UPSA is a great institution committed to offering professional courses thus making students easily employable after school. This has resulted in the admissions of the school becoming competitive by the year.
The following are any of the certificates required to gain admission into UPSA
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
- General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE)
- American High School Grade 12 with at least Final Grade Point of 3.0.
- General certificate of Secondary education (GCSE)/ Cambridge GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level
- All those applying with WASSCE and SSSCE/GBCE are required to hav at least credit passes (Grades A1-C6 and grades A-D respectfully) in at least three core subjects which are English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/ Social Studies in addition to any three elective subjects.
- Those with the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE)/Cambridge GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level must have at least five (5) credit passes including English and Mathematics at the GCSE/Baccalaureate/Cambridge ‘O’ Level and three relevant subjects at the ‘A’ Level.
- Applicants interested in applying for Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management and Finance programme are also required to have credit passes in Economics, Geography and any other elective subject.
- Applicants for admission to the Bachelor of Laws programme will in addition to the above be required to pass both written examination and selection interview.
- Current , final year SHS students, who will be writing WASSCE/GBCE/ABCE are also eligible to apply. They will e required to indicate correctly their WASSCE/GBCE?ABCE index numbers on the online application form.
